Like many of the countries of the world, Bangladesh wanted to sell her stamps to collectors. To do so they mailed out a letter to interested parties who they thought might be interested in being the agent to handle this. The following letter was mailed to an individual on 14 December 1991. To my knowledge Bangladesh was never successful in finding an agent, or agency, that advertised, promoted and sold their stamps. The Postal Department has been responsible for trying to promote and sell the stamps to collectors, but have never been successful. This seems to be because they do not know how to do it and have always ignored most of the suggestions of collectors and the philatelic groups in the country.
